The Team is comprised of diverse skill sets. The staff at Cyc'd all share a passion and drive for Cycling across all areas and we aim to have this evident in all of our dealing with customers. The Cyc'd team is built on the idea of Unity and Sharing, the aim is to deepen and broaden each others knowledge base so as to enhance the customers experience. Our Team has been formed to deliver the Cycling community the pinnacle of service with regards to our Products and their applications.

The Team

Jaaron Poad

Jaaron is the owner, the decision maker and driving force behind Cyc'd. Jaaron has developed an extensive knowledge of the Cycling industry over the last 15 years. Being able to draw on skills and techniques forged in the professional cycling ranks of Holland and Belgium, Jaaron is laser focussed on providing the very best equipment to satisfy your needs recreationally or for performance, with a range of goods which reflects this attitude.

Having worked in Cycle retail for over a decade, Jaaron launched Cyc'd for Bikes on 19-12-2009. Cyc'd was bourne from the idea that providing quality products, quality service and at the same time having highly trained staff would all equate to a rewarding exerience and the right product for you.

Anthony Johnson

Anthony brings with him many years of domestic and international Cycling knowledge. Having lived in Belgium to pursue his Cycling passion, Anthony brings with him a depth of knowledge able to meet the needs of the most discerning customer.

Anthony has a broad skill set having travelled to the USA to refine and deepen his knowledge of bike fitting, technical details around the creation and delivery of bike modules along with general bicycle knowledge. A senior member of the team, Anthony is motivated to deliver the best quality information to all at Cyc'd so you are able to make the most informed and confident decision when it comes to your cycling.

Ky Lane

Ky Lane heads up our Mountain Biking division.

Ky is a stalwart of the 24Hour MTB scene and loves to get out on the dirt and carve it up. Ky loves to ride MTB events all over the country and involves himself in trail care/maintenance days around Brisbanes great Trail network

Along with being an accredited mountain bike skills instructor with AMBIA and BoomTime Cycle Systems, Ky is also the owner/director of Lane Digital who is responsible for the site you are navigating through right now, so aside from bringing a great working knowledge of MTB's he also a holds a Masters in Digital Design and delivers website like ours.

Nick Schultz

Nick has been with the Cyc'd team for some time now as he goes to pursue his dream of Professional Cycling. "Schultzy" has already represented Australia at the 2011 World Road Championships in Copenhagen, DENMARK. Nick currently works with us across the weekends to fuel his addiction to all things BIKE and in his spare time represents Cyc'd and the Queensland Academy of Sport on the track and Road.

You can come and see Nick and he can give you great insight into how different equipment can benefit you based on your riding needs plus chat to him about what it takes to achieve at the highest level.
